Serie A is once again experiencing a title race, as three teams will start round No. 14 separated by just six points. Inter, Juventus, and AC Milan are all battling for top spot.

Meanwhile, at the bottom of the table, Salernitana are trying to kickstart their campaign for survival.

    Lazio – Cagliari

Lazio have struggled to build winning momentum all season long. On Saturday, the Biancocelesti will host Cagliari, as they seek to end a three-match winless streak. Lazio went unbeaten in their last six head-to-head games in all competitions versus the Islanders.

Cagliari are also in poor form ahead of the fixture. They failed to win each of their last two matches in Serie A. The Islanders are only outside the bottom three thanks to goal difference.

Lazio failed to win their last three games and limp into the match on Saturday at home. The good news for Maurizio Sarri is the team’s form at the Stadio Olimpico. Lazio went unbeaten in their last five home matches.

    • Lazio haven't lost in 8 of their last 9 home games in Serie A.
    • Cagliari Calcio are scoring an average of 0.67 goals in away Serie A games.
    • Lazio conceded an average of 0.67 goals in their home matches in Serie A.

    • Prediction: Under 2.5 goals.

    AC Milan – Frosinone

AC Milan went unbeaten in their last four head-to-head matches against Frosinone. The Rossoneri are coming off a 1-0 win over Fiorentina, which ended a dreadful four-game winless streak.

However, Milan’s poor form reared its head once more in midweek, as Borussia Dortmund won 3-1 at the San Siro in Champions League play. Milan took 12 points from 18 points available at home. They’ve scored just eight home goals this term.

Frosinone are fresh off a 2-1 home win over Genoa. It was a relegation six-pointer, and Frosinone now sit 10th in the division. The Lions took nine points from the last six games in Serie A.

    • AC Milan are undefeated in 18 of their last 21 home league games.
    • Frosinone have conceded 1+ goals in all of their last 10 Serie A games.

    • Prediction: AC Milan to win.

    Fiorentina – Salernitana

Fiorentina’s recent form led to them sliding down the table after a strong start to the campaign. La Viola only took six points from the last 18 points on offer. Four of their last five Serie A games ended in defeat, including last week’s match versus AC Milan.

Salernitana may be bottom of the table, but they went unbeaten in their last two matches. Three points are the difference between the Granata and safety. Salernitana took a mere two points from six away matches in Serie A.

    Sassuolo – Roma

Four of the last six head-to-head matches between Sassuolo and Roma ended in draws. Last season’s game at the MAPEI Stadium ended 1-1. Sassuolo then secured a fantastic 4-3 win in Rome in a while affair.

The last five games between these clubs finished with both teams scoring. Roma will begin the weekend in fifth place and three points off the top four. The Giallorossi went unbeaten in their last three Serie A games and are in good form.

Sassuolo, on the other hand, won just one of their last six Serie A matches. Home turf has not been kind to the Neroverdi this season. Sassuolo failed to win any of their last four home matches.
