    The football crazy nation of the four-time world champions Germany plays hosts to the European Championships next summer.

    With some giants of the continent residing here, such as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, we take a look at all the stadiums for Euro 2024.

    Olympiastadion (Berlin)

    The biggest and most famous stadium on show in 2024 will be the Olympiastadion with a capacity of 74,641, home to Hertha Berlin.

    Although Hertha Berlin are playing in 2. Bundesliga these days, their home ground has hosted countless famous events down the years, such as the 2006 World Cup final, the 2015 Champions League final, and events at the 1936 Olympics.

    Allianz Arena (Munich)

    The world-famous Allianz Arena is home to Bayern Munich and can host 70,076 fans.

    Although the Olympiastadion will host the final, it's fair to say that most of the players will be hoping to be in Munich where some of the best-ever players have plied their trade.

    Signal Iduna Park (Dortmund)

    Borussia Dortmund’s famous Yellow Wall may not be in attendance at Euro 2024, but the famous ground of the Bundesliga giants is regarded as a must-visit for die-hard football fans across the world due to the incredible atmosphere and architecture it boasts of.

    MHPArena (Stuttgart)

    One of the biggest stadiums in Germany is in Stuttgart, where the MHPArena - home of Stuttgart - fits in 54,906 fans each week for home games.

    Veltins-Arena (Gelsenkirchen)

    Schalke may be playing in 2. Bundesliga once again, but the giants of German football continue to set a standard with their incredible Veltins-Arena.

    With a unique retractable roof, the stadium is one of the youngest in Germany after opening in 2001.

    It also has a retractable pitch and is one of Europe's greatest footballing spectacles with 54,740 getting into the ground for international games.

    Waldstadion (Frankfurt)

    The Waldstadion belonging to Eintracht Frankfurt seats 54,697 and has already hosted countless important games down the years, including the 2005 Confederations Cup final and the Women's World Cup final in 2011.

    Volksparkstadion (Hamburg)

    Hamburg have been in the 2. Bundesliga for a while now, but they still boast of one of the best grounds in Germany with 52,245 people cramming into the Volksparkstadion.

    This will host group games and a quarter-final.

    Merkur Spiel-Arena (Düsseldorf)

    The Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf fits in 51,031 and will feature group games, a round of 16 match and a quarter-finals battle.

    RheinEnergieStadion (Cologne)

    FC Koln's RheinEnergieStadion will host group games and a round of 16 match, and it also hosted the Europa League just three seasons ago. 49,827 will fit into the ground.

    Red Bull Arena (Leipzig)

    Despite now being one of the leaders in German football, RB Leipzig’s Red Bull Arena is almost half the size of the Olympiastadion with a capacity of 42,959.

    It will still host group games and a round of 16 match.
