After almost a third of the league campaign already, we’re starting to see some of Europe’s top leagues take shape. Some teams, however, are looking unstoppable, such as PSV Eindhoven and Fenerbahçe.

Both sides are unbeaten on the domestic front so far, so let’s take a look at how impressive things have been.

    PSV’s 9-Game Winning Run

What a stunning season it has been for PSV so far. The club finished way adrift of Feyenoord last campaign but are now top of the Eredivisie with a perfect record of nine wins from nine games.

This run of form has seen the Dutch giants rack up 4-0 wins over the likes of Sparta Rotterdam, Almere, NEC and Waalwijk.

In fact, the club have scored a stunning 30 goals from nine games and head into the weekend’s fixtures with only three goals conceded, meaning they have already kept six clean sheets too.

So far, only Vitesse, Volendam and Fortuna Sittard have put a goal past them, while they even avoided conceding a goal in the 1-0 win over Feyenoord in the Johan Cruyff Shield back in early August

Luuk de Jong has been leading the line for PSV this season and he has now scored seven goals in nine matches and he sits third in the top scorer chart in the Eredivisie.

Fenerbahçe Putting Galatasaray to the Sword

Last campaign, similarly to PSV, Fenerbahçe finished eight points adrift of Galatasaray in their pursuit of another league title, but they are also on a nine-game winning run in the Super Lig.

The Turkish giants don't quite have as good of a record as PSV in terms of their goals difference, but they do head into this game with 24 goals scored from the nine matches and just five goals let in.

This has also seen them keep six clean sheets too, as only Gaziantep, Antalyaspor and Hatayspor have put a goal past them.

There are a bunch of former Premier League stars on the roster at Fenerbahçe this season, including Edin Dzeko, Michy Batshuayi, Dusan Tadic and Joshua King.

Former Manchester City star, Dzeko, is the man topping the goalscoring charts this season with six goals in eight games, while Sebastian Szymanski has bagged himself nine in the same amount of fixtures.

Better yet for the club, they have also secured two wins from two Europa Conference League games and won the Turkish Cup final back in June as well, beating Istanbul Basaksehir 2-0.
