The Reds claimed another three points, but Leicester are doing their best to keep them on their toes. Chelsea and Burnley both lost, while Spurs continue their revival.

Newcastle twice came from behind to draw with Manchester City at St. James’ Park. Raheem Sterling gave the visitors the lead before Jetro Willems equalised three minutes later. Kevin De Bruyne thought he’d won the game for City on 82 minutes, but a late Jonjo Shelvey strike rescued a point for the Magpies.
Virgil van Dijk scored twice in six first-half minutes to give Liverpool a comfortable lead against Brighton. However, following Alisson’s red card, Lewis Dunk’s quick free-kick gave the Seagulls hope. Still, the Reds managed to hold on to claim all three points.
Crystal Palace made the most of their chances at Turf Moor as they overcame Burnley. Goals from Wilfried Zaha and Jeffrey Schlupp ended a five-game winless run for Roy Hodgson’s side.
West Ham picked up a shock 1-0 victory at Stamford Bridge. Aaron Cresswell’s goal on 48 minutes was enough to separate the two teams, but the star of the show was debutant goalkeeper David Martin. The 33-year-old may have saved Manuel Pellegrini’s job – for now.
A brace from a rejuvenated Dele Alli and a rare Moussa Sissoko goal put Tottenham into a 3-0 lead against Bournemouth. Two late Harry Wilson strikes ensured a nervy ending for Jose Mourinho’s side, but Spurs held on for a third straight win under their new manager.
In Saturday’s late kick-off, Southampton came from behind to beat Watford in a massive game at the bottom of the table. Ismaila Sarr put the Hornets ahead on 24 minutes, before Danny Ings and James Ward-Prowse turned the game around for the Saints in the second half.
Freddie Ljungberg’s first game in temporary charge of Arsenal ended in a draw. Teemu Pukki gave Norwich the lead, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored from the spot to level the game. Todd Cantwell put the hosts ahead again just before half-time, but Aubameyang’s second of the game on 57 minutes saw the points shared.
Lys Mousset got on the scoresheet yet again as he put Sheffield United in front at Molineux after just 2 minutes. Matt Doherty brought Wolves level in the second half and the game finished 1-1.
Leicester’s winning streak continues as they came from behind to beat struggling Everton. Richarlison opened the scoring for the Toffees, before Jamie Vardy levelled on 68 minutes. Kelechi Iheanacho’s injury-time goal was originally ruled out for offside, but following a lengthy VAR check, the King Power Stadium erupted after the goal was given.
Jack Grealish scored a stunning goal to put Aston Villa in front at Old Trafford. An unfortunate Tom Heaton own-goal saw Man Utd go into the break on level terms, while Victory Lindelof put the hosts ahead after the break. However, Tyrone Mings rescued a point for Villa moments later.
