Chelsea recorded their 12th straight Premier League victory on Monday, as the Blues recorded a 3-0 win over Bournemouth with Eden Hazard and Pedro getting on the scoresheet.

The win means that Antonio Conte’s team broke a club-record for consecutive victories. The maximum points also kept the Blues well clear at the top of the Premier League table. The team from south west London have also amazingly kept ten clean sheets in those 12 wins.

The Blues have conceded the least amount of goals this season in the top-flight, having conceded just 11 goals. Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal may have scored more than the Citizens, but not by many. Chelsea have scored 38 league goals, with top scorers Liverpool scoring just three more goals in the top-flight.

The leaders achieved their victory over Bournemouth without the services of suspended pair N’Golo Kante and Diego Costa. The influential duo will be back for this weekend’s home clash with Stoke, although Spanish star Pedro will miss out through suspension.

The Blues good form seems to be showing no signs of abating even when Conte’s side are missing players they just keep winning and collecting the points. The scary thing for Stoke is Costa and Kante will have had a decent rest before they face the Potters. The energetic pair will be well rested for the clash.

There is still a long way to go in the season, but the Blues under Antonio Conte look highly assured of winning games once again. They still have the defensive solidity of the team that won the title under Jose Mourinho but are arguably more entertaining to watch.

The likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal will be hoping that the Blues slip up along the way. No doubt they cannot keep their winning run going until the end of the campaign, but at the moment they are playing with the confidence of champions.
