Liverpool moved to the top of the Premier League table on Sunday after the Reds hammered Watford 6-1 at Anfield. The victory was the Reds fourth consecutive Premier League win and was another display of Jurgen Klopp’s side's attacking prowess.

The Reds attacking quartet of Roberto Firmino, Adam Lallana, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho have been outstanding this season. On their day the quartet will give any team trouble with their pace, movement and sheer talent.

Klopp’s team are the top scorers in the Premier League and will look to continue to outscore all their opponents. Klopp has never been a boss to sacrifice defensive solidarity in favour of gung-ho football.

However, the German’s teams have always played attacking football. At the moment the Reds defence is slightly vulnerable, but the opposition have to get the ball off Liverpool first. Opposition teams have found that a problem in recent games.

Opposition teams are concentrating that much on stopping Liverpool’s attacking players that they do not have much of a chance to attack the Reds. However, as a note of caution Klopp’s team have not kept a clean sheet in their last four top-flight games.

Liverpool boss Klopp has called for his team to remain calm despite being top of the table. Understandably expectations have risen this season because of the Reds recent form in the Premier League.

Despite Klopp attempting to call for calm, game-by-game the Reds are looking like one of the most dangerous attacking team in the English top-flight. Whether Liverpool can sustain their current form for the rest of the campaign remains to be seen.

Liverpool cannot be expected to outscore their opposition every game, so the Reds defence will have to improve to keep their good run going. However, at the moment Liverpool look like they could really be a team to watch in the title race this season.
