Let's take look at the possible managers that may end up being sacked from their respective clubs.

    Frank Lampard

Although Frank Lampard is not responsible for the relegation fight in 2021/22 as there were clear issues he had to fix upon his arrival at Goodison Park, at the same time, the former Chelsea man still had four months and 21 games to figure it out. He had just six Premier League wins from the 19 he was in charge of, and he did fail in many aspects.

He'll remain at the helm of Everton for the time being given how they did finish four points above relegation in the end, but in truth, with the squad he has, Lampard has done nothing to suggest he should stay.

Another poor start to the season, and it’s almost certain he’ll be gone.

    Marco Silva

Marco Silva is no stranger to Premier League relegation, and worse yet for the Portuguese, he has set the standard incredibly high after a record-breaking season with Fulham in the Championship.

As has been the case in three of their last four returns to the Premier League, a manager has been sacked at some stage following a relegation fight. Scott Parker managed to survive the entire season last time they were relegated, and this remains the only time in the past decade a Fulham boss has not been let go while in the top flight.

What Silva did in the Championship is now irrelevant, because if he can’t keep them above the drop zone early on, history tells us he will be gone too.

    Jesse Marsch

While the likes of Erik ten Hag and Mikel Arteta will have lots to prove towards the top still, managers like Jesse Marsch are still on borrowed time as it is.

The American was under pressure from the get-go as he had to replace the seemingly irreplaceable Marcelo Bielsa. Fast forward two months and Marsch claimed only two wins from 12 games, conceded 19 goals and survived in the Premier League by the sheer fact that Burnley lost on the final day as they won.

The objective for a Leeds manager is to stay in the Premier League, and if he struggles to do this after the first few weeks of what will be his first full season in charge, Marsch could be the first man to go.

    Ralph Hasenhüttl

Southampton have had a bizarre four years under Ralph Hasenhüttl. The former RB Leipzig coach sits with a 35% win rate from 158 games with the Saints, and has gone through spells of form which tested the Europa League boundaries, but also been dragged so close to the relegation zone where they were merely saved by the faults of those below them.

For the second season running under his leadership, Southampton have finished 15th, have conceded the most goals from those outside of the relegation zone, just as he only managed to gain one more point (63) this year than he did the previous.

It doesn’t really look as if the club are moving forward much with Hasenhüttl, and a poor start to next season will put him under serious pressure.
