The final international break of 2021 is over and the automatic qualification places at Qatar 2022 are signed, sealed and delivered in Europe.

Here, Forebet has put together the best fixtures around the continent to watch this weekend in what is a vital set of games on the domestic front.

    Leicester City v Chelsea

Chelsea will look to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League this weekend as they travel to the King Power Stadium where Leicester can get into the top half with a win and other results going their way.

The two famously met in the FA Cup final last season where the Foxes won the trophy for the first time as Chelsea were defeated 1-0 thanks to an exceptional strike from Youri Tielemans. It’s a vital clash in the Premier League where the table can see serious changes with any result.

    Lazio v Juventus

Lazio and Juventus will clash in Rome for what has become a crucial meeting between the two in an attempt to get inside the top four. Juventus' start to life back under Max Allegri has been so bad that even with a win here, the Old Lady would only move as high as fifth, but even then they need a big goal difference swing.

So far, it is looking like another season without the title for Juventus, but for Lazio, a fight for the Champions League spots will be on with a win here.

    Liverpool v Arsenal

Arsenal will travel to Anfield on Saturday where they have an absolutely torrid record in recent years as the Gunners haven’t won here since 2012 and ever since then, only beaten Liverpool three times in the league.

A couple of weeks ago, this could have been top against a bottom half side, however, Arsenal’s excellent run of form has moved them above Manchester United and into fifth. Now, a win would even take Arsenal above the Reds and into third, but this hasn’t happened on Merseyside against them in almost 10 years.

    Inter v Napoli

In what is arguably the biggest game of the season in Serie A, the champions Inter Milan welcome the league leaders Napoli to the San Siro. As of now, seven points separate the table-topping Naples side and Inter, and a defeat for Simeone Inzaghi’s men and his side will be in serious trouble in defending their title.

As for Napoli, a win here against the champions and they may just become the title favourites ahead of AC Milan.

Olympique Lyonnais v Olympique de Marseille

Two giants of France who have struggled for form this campaign will meet Groupama Stadium with Lyon down in seventh and Marseille in fourth. A victory for the home side is absolutely crucial if they are to mend the post-Memphis Depay wounds slightly and move closer to the top four.

It’s a game that never fails to entertain and with much more on the line this time around, it’s turned into one of the biggest games of the season for either side.
