Denmark will open their Euro 2020 account against Scandanavian rivals Finland on June 12, before facing a huge test against Belgium in Copenhagen on June 17.
Four days later, Denmark will wrap up their group-stage campaign with a match against Russia on June 21.
Christian Eriksen: The former Tottenham midfielder played a key role in Inter Milan’s Serie A title triumph this year and will be hoping to carry his domestic form onto the international stage.
Notably, Eriksen’s scoring record for Denmark is outstanding. In 106 appearances, the 29-year-old has netted 36 goals, with five goals coming in his last nine matches.
Other than Belgium, Denmark’s Group B opponents are nothing special. If they can get the better of Finland and Russia, they will give themselves an excellent chance of making it out of their group.
It wouldn’t be a huge surprise if Denmark failed to qualify for the Round of 16. However, they have more than enough quality to finish second in Group B.
