Man City start the weekend eight points behind first-place Arsenal. The Cityzens have a game in hand but some difficult fixtures on the horizon.
Liverpool are sixth and seven points off fourth-place Tottenham. The Reds have nothing to play for this season except the final Champions League qualification place.
Although Manchester City won 3-2 against Liverpool in a December Carabao Cup match-up, the Reds have a strong head-to-head record against the Sky Blues in recent meetings.
Liverpool are unbeaten in five of their last six matches against City. However, the Reds have been dreadful on the road this season, with a record of 3W-3D-7L. Liverpool are unpredictable away from Anfield.
