There’s also a tasty clash in store in the French top flight on Sunday evening when 2nd placed PSG take on their 4th placed visitors, Monaco, when the two teams face off at the Parc des Princes, with a valuable three points at stake for both sides.
After a disappointing start to this Ligue 1 season which saw PSG suffer early back-to-back defeats against Lens and Marseille respectively.

The French champions responded in positive fashion as they bounced back with an eight-match winning streak and have subsequently lost just a further three games in the following 23 matches overall.
This sustained sequence of results also include winning their last three league matches on the trot with victories collected against Nimes, returning the favour away at Marseille and a 2-1 home win over Nice last time out in Ligue 1.
Results on home turf at their Parc des Princes ground have also gathered momentum as Paris St. Germain have now won their last six home matches on the trot, scoring 18 goals in the process and conceding just 1 goal in reply, so the hosts will be in confident mood here.
Monaco’s fortunes are also on the rise as the visitors currently sit in 4th place in Ligue 1 thanks to their 10-match unbeaten run prior to this tough looking trip to the nation’s capital on Sunday night.
Following a worrying spell of results which saw Monaco slump to three defeats on the trot with losses against Lille, Marseille and ens respectively, Monaco have also responded in positive fashion as the visitors have won eight of their subsequent 10 matches in the French top flight.
This encouraging sequence of results also include winning their last five matches on the trot on their travels too, with wins recorded away at Dijon, Lorient, Montpellier, Nantes and Nimes, scoring 15 goals but conceding 8 in reply.
Perhaps herein lies the deciding factor though as Monaco have managed to keep just two clean sheets on the road all season within their total of 12 away matches to date.
Their previous record away at the Parc des Princes has been a poor one as PSG have won five out of the previous six meetings at home against the municipality outfit, and this trend could continue on Sunday night.
