Huddersfield Town were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Birmingham City on Saturday at the John Smith’s Stadium but it was another small step towards Huddersfield’s revival under manager, Danny Cowley, as The Terriers responded in positive fashion following their heavy 3-1 loss away at Preston North End before the international break.

Huddersfield have now suffered just 1 defeat out of their last 9 matches which is some turnaround for a side that had lost 7 of their opening 8 matches in this new Championship campaign, and a sequence of poor results that cost former manager, Jan Siewart, his position at the John Smith’s Stadium.

A brighter future now lokks to be in store for Huddersfield and fans alike but there’s still plenty of work ahead for Cowley & co as The Terriers occupy 19th place in the Championship and have managed just 2 home wins this term.

Whilst the rebuilding continues, the straight win markets may still be a little ambitious but 5 of Huddersfield’s last 9 home matches have seen both teams score, and the hosts certainly now pose much more of a threat up front with striker Ahearne-Grant (9 goals).

Swansea City manager, Steve Cooper, will be desperate for a reaction from his side on Tuesday night following a disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to bottom half outfit Millwall which has resulted in The Swans dropping down to 5th place in the Championship.

With just 3 wins out of their last 11 matches in the second tier, are the wheels beginning to fall off for the Welsh outfit following what was a blistering start to the new campaign with Swansea winning 5 of their first 6 matches of the season.

Momentum like that is extremely difficult to maintain, not least in the Championship, but wins over Charlton Athletic, Cardiff City and Wigan Athletic are really all Cooper’s men have to show for their efforts during the last two months in what has been an alarming decline in form for The Swans.

That said, Swansea still remain unbeaten away from home in the Championship and manager, Cooper, will be hoping his side can maintain this solid sequence on the road at Huddersfield on Tuesday night.

4 wins and 4 draws suggest the straight win could be risky but 5 of Swansea’s 8 away matches this season have also seen both teams score and with forwards Baston (6 goals) and Ayew (4 goals), the visitors should also pose a threat in attack here.
