There are many games to enjoy in the Italian Serie A on Sunday and the early evening kick-off sees Torino welcome Inter Milan to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

Torino will be hoping to push on in the second half of the season and climb into the top half of the table.  A win could see them move up to 9th place and close in on Lazio who are in 6th place.

Inter Milan need to win to try and close the gap between themselves and second place Napoli.  They could also extend their lead over city rivals AC Milan, who are currently one place and 6 points behind them in the table.

Torino FC have struggled to pick up wins in their most recent games and the 3-2 loss at Roma last weekend means they have won just one of their last seven matches in all competitions. Prior to the defeat in Serie A last weekend, Torino were knocked out of the Coppa Italia, going down 2-0 at home against Fiorentina.

Home form shows Torino have won two of their last five Serie A games, losing two and drawing one.  This sums up their home form nicely as they have been very inconsistent for some time.  Scoring goals has not been a problem but they have had trouble keeping clean sheets.

Trends show both teams have scored in six of Torino’s last seven home Serie A games.

Inter were disappointed to be held to a 0-0 draw at home by Sassuolo last weekend and that put a dent in their hopes of catching Napoli. However, the point did extend their run of unbeaten games to six in all competitions.

During those six matches, Inter Milan have defeated Udinese, Napoli and Empoli in Serie A, with each game ending in a 1-0 victory.  They were also held to a 1-1 draw at Chievo Verona and defeated Benevento 6-2 at home in the Coppa Italia.

Trends show under 2.5 goals have been scored in each of Inter Milan’s last six Serie A matches and in each of their last three away from home.  However, away form has not been great and Inter Milan have won just one of their last five on the road.  Prior to the defeat at Atalanta which sparked the poor run, Inter Milan won seven of their eight away league games and will be hoping to embark on a similar run by winning this match.

Team news and Torino are without Souahilo Meite who is suspended plus Daniele Baselli and Emiliano Moretti are doubtful with injury.

Inter Milan have only one injury concern and Keita Baldé Diao has a thigh injury and it is unclear when he will return to the squad.

Torino have struggled to find any consistency this season and their home form is patchy.  Inter Milan have shown they can string a run of away wins together in Serie A and could come away with all 3 points in a game with under 2.5 goals scored.
