    Leicester to continue winning

Eighth place Leicester host 11th place Everton on Saturday at the King Power Stadium. Leicester have won their last two Premier League fixtures defeating Huddersfield and Newcastle, respectively.

Both matches have seen two or more goals. Everton defeated Fulham in their last match, 3-0, which ended a four-game winless streak. A win could propel one of the two sides up the table and into top six contention.

Leicester have received great output from summer signing James Maddison over their last four games. Maddison has scored three goals and tallied two assists. The attacking midfielder has scored or assisted a goal in each of Leicester’s last four Premier League matches.

His outstanding form has led Gareth Southgate to select him for the upcoming international fixtures. Striker Jamie Vardy has also recorded three strikes. Vardy tallied a goal in Leicester's 2-0 win over Newcastle last weekend.

Everton are finally getting over the injury problems that plagued them just a few weeks ago. Manager Marco Silva has two long-term injury worries currently. James McCarthy is recovering from a broken leg while summer signing Andre Gomes is still out with a hamstring injury. His signing looks to be a complete waste as Gomes is yet to play in an Everton shirt. Gomes has finally returned to training but won’t feature until after the international break.

The last six matches between the two clubs have seen three wins apiece. The home team has won each of the last three Premier League matches. Leicester won last season’s fixture at the King Power Stadium by a 2-0 scoreline. Everton’s defence has been poor on the road. Their last four away games have seen Everton concede at least two goals. More damning than Everton’s poor defensive record is their win-loss tally on the road. Everton have failed to win 27 of their last 30 away fixtures.

Leicester winger Demarai Gray will miss the match with an ankle injury. It is a big loss for Leicester as Gray provides pace, width, and creativity down the flanks. Gray has recorded one goal in six games this season and his loss takes away a Leicester goal threat.

The Foxes good recent form will see them once again defeat Everton at home. Leicester have taken six points from nine at the King Power Stadium and have a +3-goal difference. Everton are 16th in the Premier League in the away points table. The Toffees have managed to obtain just two points from nine away games. Leicester will win again and continue their improvement under Claude Puel.
