Juventus’ form in Serie A has been formidable of late. The Bianconeri has recorded nine straight league wins.

Despite their recent good form, Max Allegri’s side are still second place in the table behind Napoli, as they prepare for a trip to Lazio on Saturday evening.

The home side are not likely to be easy opponents for the men from Turin, though. Simone Inzaghi’s side are currently third-place in Serie A, although they are 13 points behind the visitors in the standings.

The team from the eternal city have win recorded two straight wins in the Italian top-flight, last time out in Serie A recording a 3-0 win at Sassuolo. The successive wins were needed, as Inzaghi’s side had suffered three straight defeats in the Italian top-flight prior to the victories.

Lazio’s recent Serie A games have been high scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in seven of their last eight games in the Italian top-flight.

The home side have a strong recent home record, winning four of their last five games on home soil in Serie A, while also scoring two or more goals in all four victories.

Reigning champions Juventus trail leaders Napoli by a point, but have a game in-hand on the men from Naples. The Bianconeri could cut Napoli’s lead at the top to one point, with Maurizio Sarri’s side playing on Saturday night against Roma.

The visitors have been back to their formidable defensive best in recent Serie A games, keeping clean sheets in their last six league games. Those defensive displays have made a huge contribution to there being under 2.5 goals scored in five of their last six league games.

Max Allegri’s side have a strong recent away record, as the Bianconeri have won their last seven away games in Serie A. They have also conceded just one goal in their last seven games on their travels in the Italian top-flight.

Forebet predicts that Juventus will record a vital away win in a low scoring game to aid their bid to retain the Scudetto.
