On Friday night, struggling Lille host Saint Etienne at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Ligue One, as the home side look to move out of the relegation zone.
Lille have endured a nightmare league campaign so far and are currently 19th place in the Ligue One table, having taken just nine points from their 11 league outings so far.

Much like the home side, Saint-Etienne have been in poor form of late. However, the visitors are still sixth-place in the French top-flight table.
They have won just one of their last six games in Ligue One while losing three of their last five league games. Julien Sable’s team have also failed to score in their last three league games, which has contributed to their poor recent results.
Saint-Etienne have a mixed recent away record in the French top-flight, having won just two of their last seven games on their travels in Ligue One. They have also suffered four defeats in that period, so the visitors are by no means good travellers.
The visitors have not won at Saint-Etienne in 14 visits in all competitions. However, the home side are really struggling for form and Forebet predicts that Saint-Etienne will end their terrible run in Lille with a victory.
