Swansea City have boosted their chances of beating the drop by recording consecutive wins in the Premier League. The Swans have won at Liverpool, before beating Southampton last time out in the top-flight.

The victories have seen the Welsh side move out of the relegation zone. However, the Swans faced a difficult test of their winning record as they travel to face Manchester City on Sunday lunchtime.

Paul Clement’s side may be out of the relegation zone now. However, they could be back in the drop zone by the time they kick-off, with 18th place Crystal Palace facing a home game with rock-bottom Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.

Swansea have now won their last two Premier League away games. However, the Swans had lost seven of the previous eight away games in the top-flight. They also have a poor defensive record on their travels in the top flight, conceding two or more goals in seven of their last ten games.

City have been inconsistent of late in the Premier League, although the Citizens have won six of their last nine Premier League games. Pep Guardiola’s side have also lost just one of their last 14 Premier League games on home soil.

The home side are also unbeaten in their last four Premier League games on home soil, recording three victories. The men from Manchester have scored two or more goals in their last four games at the Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola’s side hammered West Ham 4-0 at the London Stadium last time out. The game marked the full league debut of Brazilian starlet Gabriel Jesus, who scored and also created a goal for the Citizens. The Brazilian may be shifted to the left-wing for this game with Sergio Aguero coming back as the central striker.

The home side are in desperate need of a victory to keep pace with the teams above them and Forebet predicts that the Citizens will come out on top in this big clash.
