Fantasy Premier League – FPL Picks, Best Players and More for Gameweek 15

Believe it or not, Gameweek 15 is the penultimate round of Premier League fixtures before the World Cup break. That means Fantasy Premier League managers have plenty of decisions to make.

The Gameweek 15 deadline is set for 13:30 (GMT) on Saturday, November 5, with four matches kicking off at 15:00. Saturday’s late kick-off sees Everton host Leicester, with five clashes going down on Sunday.

Before we examine the best players for FPL GW15, let’s assess the fixtures.

    • Nottm Forest vs. Brentford
    • Wolves vs. Brighton
    • Man City vs. Fulham
    • Leeds vs. Bournemouth
    • Everton vs. Leicester
    • Chelsea vs. Arsenal
    • Aston Villa vs. Man Utd
    • Southampton vs. Newcastle
    • West Ham vs. Crystal Palace
    • Tottenham vs. Liverpool

As you can see, Man City have a hugely favourable home fixture against Fulham. Leeds, Everton and West Ham will also be confident of winning on home soil.

The standout clashes are undoubtedly Chelsea vs. Arsenal and Tottenham vs. Liverpool. However, it is difficult to predict how those games will go – meaning it could make sense to limit your assets from those teams.

Without further ado, here are the best FPL players for GW15.

    Goalkeepers

Nick Pope (Newcastle) kept his third clean sheet in four outings last weekend. As a result, he sits level with Ederson (Man City) atop the clean sheets leaderboard. Both goalkeepers are excellent picks for GW15.

With Ivan Toney (Brentford) suspended, Dean Henderson (Nottm Forest) could prove to be a shrewd pick for this weekend. Although Forest concede lots of goals, Henderson is the second-highest scoring GK in the game.

    Defenders

Man City have the best clean sheet odds for GW15, followed by West Ham and Leeds. Joao Cancelo (Man City), Kurt Zouma (West Ham) and Pascal Struijk (Leeds) are the best defensive options from those sides.

Brighton and Newcastle are also favoured to achieve shutouts this weekend. Lewis Dunk (Brighton), Adam Webster (Brighton), Kieran Trippier (Newcastle) and Fabian Schar (Newcastle) are all worth considering.

    Midfielders

On the topic of Newcastle, let’s talk about Miguel Almiron (Newcastle). The Paraguayan is now the second-highest scoring midfielder in FPL after netting six goals in his last six appearances.

Needless to say, Kevin De Bruyne (Man City) is the best midfield option for GW15 – and beyond! Leandro Trossard (Brighton) and James Maddison (Leicester) are also among the top midfield picks.

    Forwards

There are still doubts over the fitness of Erling Haaland (Man City), who missed last weekend’s game. As we already know, Ivan Toney (Brentford) is suspended. That leaves very few appealing forward options for GW15.

Harry Kane (Tottenham) and Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal) will be confident of rising to the occasion of their respective heavyweight clashes. Let’s not forget that Callum Wilson (Newcastle) bagged two goals and two assists last time out.
