France May Struggle to Stay in the Win Column Against Denmark

Denmark will welcome the world champions to Parken this weekend with the two nations coming into this game with entirely contrasting results in the last game as France have finally registered their first Nations League win of the season.

France are just two months out from defending their World Cup crown, but in the Nations League where they are also the champions, the two-time World Cup winners have struggled tremendously.

In fact, their recent 2-0 win in Paris was their first win of the Nations League campaign and also the first time they have managed to rack up any points on home soil this season.

France beat Austria last time out, as Kylian Mbappe continued his excellent goalscoring form this season with a goal in the second half.

Oliver Giroud also scored again, and he is now just three goals adrift of stunningly breaking Thierry Henry's record for the most goals in the country's history. Giroud is also on fire with AC Milan once more, as he has scored three times in three starts.

Previous to the win over Austria, however, Mbappe and co. did lost 1-0 to Croatia in Paris, 2-1 to Denmark on home soil too, while only racking up two points in draws away from home against Croatia and Austria.

Denmark are, however, coming into this one off the back of a loss to Croatia. A fantastic long range goal from Christian Eriksen did bring them level in the second half, but for just two minutes as Lovro Majer scored in the 79th minute to cancel out the great goal from the Manchester United star.

The Euro 2020 semi-finalists did manage to beat Austria just prior to this, although a defeat to Croatia just before that now keeps them in second and a point behind Croatia.

They will need to win here against France once again to have any chance of making it to the knockout rounds, as Croatia are expected to beat Austria.

Denmark still do look exceptional as a unit, however, and they stunningly managed to let in just three goals all campaign long in the World Cup qualifiers, scoring 30 goals at the same time and only losing in their final game of Group F to Scotland.

Kasper Hjulmand has probably caught France at the worst time, however, with them now back in the win column. He will be hoping for a similar performance to the victorious one in Paris back in June.

Forebet predicts a draw here and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
