Lorient’s recent home record in Ligue 1 is a poor one, as they have won just two of their last eight league games on home soil, having failed to win any of their previous three home matches in Ligue 1.
OL finished in eighth place in Ligue 1 last season despite finishing the campaign in decent form. An opening weekend 2-1 home win over Ajaccio means that Lyon has now won five of their previous six league matches.
They have also scored at least two goals in their last six matches in the French top flight.
Their potent attack has contributed to over 2.5 goals scored in their last eight league outings. Also, both teams scored in nine of their last ten outings in the French top flight.
One facet of their game that Lyon does need to improve is their away record, as OL has won just two of their last six away matches in the French top-flight.
