It’s safe to say that Gameweek 30 dished up plenty of drama. West Brom thrashed Chelsea 5-2, Liverpool eased past Arsenal, while Southampton came from 2-0 down to beat Burnley.
Once again, we have some tasty matchups to look forward to this weekend, with another full round of fixtures for FPL Gameweek 31.

Ederson (Man City) kept yet another clean sheet in the previous round, as did Alisson (Liverpool). However, every other goalkeeper conceded at least one goal last weekend.
Bernd Leno (Arsenal), Rui Patricio (Wolves) and Martin Dubravka (Newcastle) all stand a good chance of achieving a shutout in Gameweek 31, facing Sheff Utd, Fulham and Burnley, respectively.
Bejamin Mendy (Man City) scored and kept a clean sheet last time out, while Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) returned to form with an assist and a standout performance against Arsenal.
With a goalless draw the most probable outcome of Burnley vs. Newcastle, defenders from either of those sides could prove to be solid budget defensive picks.
Seamus Coleman (Everton) chipped in with an assist in Gameweek 30, and he should enjoy more luck against an unpredictable Brighton side this weekend.
Matheus Pereira (West Brom) picked up a whopping 21 points in the previous round, bagging two goals and two assists against Chelsea. The Baggies’ talisman now has seven goals and five assists this season.
Elsewhere, Trezeguet (Aston Villa) netted a brace, Nathan Redmond (Southampton) scored and assisted, while Diogo Jota (Liverpool) continued his comeback from injury with another goal.
Jesse Lingard (West Ham) as arguably the Premier League’s in-form player right now. He picked up a goal and an assist last time out, meaning he has bagged six goals and four assists in eight games since joining the Hammers on loan from Man Utd.
Danny Ings (Southampton) and Che Adams (Southampton) will be confident of adding to their tallies against the league’s weakest backline – West Brom – this weekend.
But given that Saints have the second-worst defensive record in the division, in-form striker Callum Robinson (West Brom) could get on the scoresheet again following his brace against Chelsea.
Harry Kane (Tottenham) now has 19 goals and 13 assists to his name following a double against Newcastle last time out.
