Gameweek 10 gets underway on Saturday, October 8. With no early kick-off this weekend, we have the slightly strange deadline time of 13:30 (GMT) on Saturday. Don’t forget to sort out your FPL teams!
There are for 15:00 games before Brighton and Tottenham clash in Saturday’s late kick-off. We then have four games on Sunday before Nottm Forest and Aston Villa wrap up the round on Monday night.
Now that we’re up to speed on the fixtures, it’s time to go over the best players for FPL Gameweek 10. Let’s get this show on the road!
Ederson (Man City) has kept the most clean sheets this season, achieving four shutouts in eight games. With off-form Southampton up next, Pep Guardiola’s side are in line for another clean sheet.
With Edouard Mendy (Chelsea) set to miss Gameweek 10 due to injury, Kepa (Chelsea) is a good option. The Blues are preparing for a home clash with Wolves, who are the league’s lowest scorers.
Defenders
Thilo Kehrer (West Ham) was the highest-scoring defender in Gameweek 9, picking up ten points. Boasting an ownership of just 0.3% he is bound to attract plenty of attention with Fulham up next.
William Saliba (Arsenal), Joao Cancelo (Man City) and Kieran Trippier (Newcastle) are the only defenders to have collected 40+ FPL points this season. Conor Coady (Everton) is also worth considering.
Leandro Trossard (Brighton) and Phil Foden (Man City) both netted a hat-trick last time out, while James Maddison (Leicester) bagged two goals and one assist. They are among the league’s in-form players.
Looking at fixture difficultly for Gameweek 10, Philippe Coutinho (Aston Villa), Raheem Sterling (Chelsea), Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace) and Antony (Man Utd) are all worth taking a punt on.
Needless to say, Erling Haaland (Man City) is the best FPL asset right now. The deadly striker secured his third consecutive home hat-trick last weekend, meaning he now sits 40 points clear atop the rankings.
Harry Kane (Tottenham) is Haaland’s nearest challenger. Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal) could enjoy plenty of success against Liverpool’s leaky backline, while Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) could punish the Gunners.
