Just two matches remain in the Serie A season. Empoli and Sassuolo continue to fight against relegation, and both clubs could emerge from the bottom three this weekend.
Atalanta and Roma continue to battle for the final Champions League qualification place.

Lecce can seal their Serie A status with a win. A draw could also seal their safety. Lecce failed to win their last three Serie A games, drawing two and losing one.
Roma are battling for a top-five place. However, Roma took just two points from the last nine on offer, which means they could miss out on next season’s Champions League. The Giallorossi are fresh off a 2-1 loss against Atalanta.
Genoa are unbeaten in their last three Serie A matches. They took seven points from nine, scoring eight goals and conceding four times.
Genoa defeated Roma 4-1 earlier this season at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. The Grifone’s win ended a five-game winless streak against Roma.
Sassuolo and Cagliari will play a relegation six-pointer this weekend. Cagliari will begin the weekend four points ahead of Sassuolo in the standings. The Islanders won 2-1 earlier this season, as Sassuolo had a man sent off.
Cagliari will begin matchday 37 in 15th place. They are winless in five straight games, taking only three points from 15 on offer. Cagliari lost 5-1 to AC Milan last weekend.
Sassuolo lost 2-1 to Genoa a week ago. The Neroverdi lost four of their last five Serie A matches. The good news for Sassuolo is that they went unbeaten in four of their last five home matches.
Udinese and Empoli will also play a relegation six-pointer. The Zebrette are 16th in the standings and Empoli are 18th. Just one point separates the two teams with two games left to play. These teams drew nil-nil earlier this season.
Udinese have drawn the most games in the league this season, with 18. The Zebrette took five points from the last nine on offer to give them hope of survival. Udinese won 2-0 over Lecce last time out.
Empoli took only one point from their last three matches. The Azzurri lost 2-0 to Lazio last weekend. Empoli have scored the league’s fewest goals this season (26).
