Now, Milan are looking to rebound against Hellas Verona. Napoli are also looking to get their season up and running after taking just seven points.
AC Milan won five of their last six games against Hellas Verona in all competitions. Last season, the Rossoneri did the league double over Verona by a combined score of 5-2.
Hellas Verona started the season with back-to-back wins but have since failed to win their last two games. The Gialloblu struggle to score goals, tallying just four this season.
Milan are third with nine points. After winning their opening three games, they were smashed 5-1 by Inter in round No. 4. Milan played just one match at the San Siro this season, winning 4-1 against Torino.
Lazio won their last three games against Monza in all competitions. In 2022-23, Lazio defeated Monza by a combined score of 3-0.
Monza won just one of their opening four matches. They struggled to score goals in their four games, tallying just four times. Twice this season Monza were held scoreless.
Lazio also started the season poorly. Maurizio Sarri’s team lost three of its opening four games. They too struggled to score goals, scoring just four times in four games.
Empoli are Serie A’s worst team after four matches. The Azzurri lost all four matches to open the campaign. They have not scored a goal this term and conceded 12 times. In round No. 4, Empoli conceded seven goals to Roma.
Inter Milan conceded just one goal in their opening four games. They tallied 13 goals and lead the league in scoring. Lautaro Martinez scored five of Inter’s 13 goals.
Empoli shocked Inter with a 1-0 win at the San Siro last season. Inter returned the favour and defeated Empoli 3-0 away later in the campaign.
Napoli went unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions against Bologna. Last season, the Partenopei took four points from six points on offer against Bologna.
Bologna are unbeaten in their last three Serie A games. Thiago Motta’s team took five points from the last nine points on offer. Bologna were held scoreless in two of their four games, including last weekend’s nil-nil draw with Verona.
Napoli are fresh off a 2-2 draw with Genoa. The reigning Serie A champions failed to win their last two Serie A games. The team looks very different to the one that romped to the title last term.
