The Serie C promotion playoffs are heating up. The second legs of the promotion playoffs will take place on Wednesday following the weekend’s first leg matches.

Cesena went to L.R. Vincenz and left with a nil-nil draw in the first leg. Now, the Seahorses are aiming to pick up a win at home to progress to the final.
L.R. Vincenza have a strong head-to-head record against Cesena. The club has two wins and a draw all-time versus the Seahorses. Vincenza outscored Cesena 5-2 across those three games.
Cesena go into the match unbeaten in 11 straight matches in all competitions. They posted six wins and five draws during that timeframe. The Seahorses kept three clean sheets in their last three matches in all competitions.
Crotone and Foggia will play for the fourth time this season in all competitions when they meet on Wednesday. Foggia went unbeaten in all three games this term against Crotone, outscoring them 3-1.
All three matches between Crotone and Foggia this season ended with under 2.5 goals. Foggia go into the semifinal second leg with the upper hand following a 1-0 win in the opening match. Diego Peralta scored the match’s only goal.
Crotone go into the second leg having lost two of their last four matches in all competitions. The Rossoblu were in Serie A as recently as 2019-20. The last few seasons have been difficult for the club.
Pordenone and Lecco will play for the fourth time this season on Wednesday in the second leg. Pordenone secured a 1-0 win in the first leg. They are unbeaten in three games against Lecco this season.
Lecco lost 5-0 to Pordenone earlier in the season away from home. They picked up a nil-nil draw in the second fixture. However, this season in three games, Pordenone outscored Lecco 6-0.
The first leg was decided by a penalty in the 86th minute. Pordenone’s Salvatore Burrai scored from the spot to give his team an upper hand in the semifinal tie.
Pescara take a 2-1 lead into the semifinal second leg against Virtus Entella. The teams have a recent history against each other, with three of their six meetings finishing as draws. Virtus Entella have a record of 2W-3D-1L against Pescara in their last six matches.
The first leg saw Virtus open the scoring in the seventh-minute courtesy of Andrea Corbari. Pescara battled back, scoring twice in the second half.
Davide Merola and Salvatore Aloi scored in the final 25 minutes to give Pescara the win and a 2-1 lead in the semifinal tie. Pescara’s Facundo Lescano will miss the second leg after being sent off in the 67th minute of the first match.
