CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying moves into the final day of qualification. Four teams have qualified for the World Cup automatically, but there is still one place open with three places chasing the spot. Peru, Colombia, and Chile are all in the mix for the final spot.
Bolivia are second from the bottom in CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying. Brazil, on the other hand, are top of the qualifying standings and they will finish first at the end of the phase.

Bolivia are on a three-match losing streak in World Cup qualifying. They fell 3-0 to Colombia last time out. Brazil have an all-time record of 22W-4D-5L against Bolivia in all competitions.
Chile must win against Uruguay to have any hope of qualifying for the World Cup. The Chileans must win and hope Peru and Colombia both lose. Uruguay have already qualified and are in good form.
Despite finishing 2021 in abysmal form, Uruguay turned around their qualifying issues to win their last three games to punch their ticket to Qatar. The Sky Blues are coming off of a 1-0 win over Peru in qualifying.
Chile are hot and cold. They lost two of their last three games in World Cup qualifying. Their defeats came at the hands of Argentina and Brazil. Their only win in the last three games came against Bolivia 3-2.
Peru could have punched their ticket to the World Cup last time around, but they suffered a 1-0 loss to Uruguay. Peru must win to qualify for the inter-confederation playoffs. If they do not win, Peru need Colombia and Chile to drop points.
Paraguay cannot qualify for the World Cup. The Paraguayans won last time out against Ecuador 3-1. The victory ended a seven-match winless streak.
Peru’s 1-0 loss to Uruguay ended a great run of form. Their last four games in World Cup qualifying ended without losses. Just one point separates Peru and sixth-place Colombia in the race for the top five.
Colombia may have saved their World Cup qualifying campaign. Los Cafeteros claimed a 3-0 win against Bolivia. A win against Venezuela could see Colombia move ahead of Peru and into fifth place. Venezuela are last in qualifying and have nothing to play for but pride.
Venezuela are on a two-match losing streak in World Cup qualifying. They fell to Uruguay and Argentina by a combined score of 7-1. Just two of Venezuela’s last 17 matches ended in wins.
Colombia’s 3-0 win over Bolivia ended a seven-match winless streak in World Cup qualifying. Los Cafeteros need a win and for Peru to draw or lose to Paraguay. The pressure is on Peru and Colombia can simply go out and place to their potential.
