The win was a solid response to last weekend's 5-1 mauling at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
The Bavarians are in second place in the Bundesliga table, now four points adrift of league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, although they do have a game in hand on Die Werkself.
The defeat in Frankfurt last time out ended a six-game winning run for Bayern in the Bundesliga.
It was also a rare quiet day in front of goal for Thomas Tuchel’s team, as they have scored at least two goals in 12 of their last 14 league outings.
Bayern have been formidable on home soil lately, as they are unbeaten in six home league games, having recorded four straight league wins at the Allianz Arena.
Third-place Die Roten moved to within a point of Bayern last weekend by claiming a 1-1 home draw against league leaders Bayer Leverkusen. They are also now five points adrift of the leaders.
The draw extended Stuttgart’s unbeaten run in the German top-flight to four games, although it did end a three-game winning league run.
One of the most impressive facets of Stuttgart’s season so far has been their away form, as Sebastian Hoeness’ team heads into this game on the back of four away wins in their previous five league matches in the Bundesliga.
The Eagles have also been potent on their travels, too, scoring at least two goals in all four of their recent away wins.
Forebet predicts that Bayern Munich will record a high-scoring victory to return to winning ways in the Bundesliga.
