Aston Villa are aiming to make it to six unbeaten games in a row when they meet with Luton Town on the weekend at Villa Park after a sensational victory during the week in the Europa Conference League.

The Unai Emery revolution continued in midweek over in the Netherlands, as he guided his side to a stunning 4-1 win away to AZ Alkmaar.

Leon Bailey continued his magical run of goalscoring form that night with another goal, as John McGinn scored for the second Europa Conference League game in a row that day too.

Youri Tielemans and Ollie Watkins netted another goal each too.

Villa also won by the same scoreline against West Ham United last weekend, as Douglas Luiz stole the show with a goal in either half before Bailey and Watkins netted another goal each too.

Before this, Villa drew 1-1 with Wolverhampton Wanderers where Pau Torres scored.

Villa have also managed to defeat Brighton 6-1 in recent weeks, as Ollie Watkins scored a hat-trick before Jacob Ramsey netted and Douglas Luiz got a goal late on in the game.

This excellent run of form keeps Villa in fifth and only one point adrift of the top four and even just four points behind Tottenham Hotspur at the top of the table.

They have now also scored 23 goals and let in just 13, meaning only Newcastle United have scored more goals.

On the injury front, Villa are pretty sound too. Emi Buendia and Tyrone Mings remain out for the season, while Alex Moreno is nearing a return and could do so next week.

Jacob Ramsey will be out for a few weeks with an ankle injury, however.

As for Luton, they are out of the relegation zone for the time being, but they could be sucked back into the bottom three if results go against them this weekend.

The Hatters have won just one game this season after a 2-1 victory at Goodison Park, and this win took them six games to rack up too.

They also have some key players missing with Dan Potts and Mads Andersen missing through injury, while Sambi Lokonga is set to be injured for a few weeks.

Jordan Clark is nearing a return but won't do so this weekend, while Amari'i Bell and Reece Burke are still not ready to come back.

Forebet predicts a win here for Villa and for the game to see over 2.5 goals.
