Inter Milan come into the game on the back of a 2-1 home win over Salzburg in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
It was Inter Milan who opened the scoring in the 19th minute but having led 1-0 at half time, Salzburg shocked the home crowd with an equaliser in the 57th minute.
However, it did not take long for Inter Milan to retake the lead and they scored 7 minutes later.
In terms of Serie A, Inter Milan beat Torino 3-0 away last weekend, with all 3 goals coming in the second half.
The win at Torino means Inter Milan are undefeated in 10 of their last 11 Serie A fixtures.
They have won 9 of those 11 games but Inter Milan have failed to win their last 2 home league matches, losing against Sassuolo and drawing with Bologna.
Trends show Inter Milan have scored 1 or more goals in all their last 17 Serie A games and both teams have scored in each of their last 3 home league matches.
Roma travel to Milan having played at home in the Europa League against Slavia Prague on Thursday night.
It was a game between the top two in the group and it appears Roma will qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.
Last weekend in Serie A, Roma recorded a 1-0 home win over Monza.
The only goal of the game was scored in the 90th minute and Roma played against ten men for the whole of the second half.
The win over Monza means Roma are undefeated in 5 of their last 6 Serie A matches.
They have won each of their last 3 league games, with the additional wins coming over Frosinone at home and Cagliari away.
Trends show Roma have won only 1 of their 8 most recent away Serie A matches. They have scored at least 1 or more goals in their last 12 Serie A fixtures.
Looking ahead to the team news and Inter Milan have two players unavailable, with Juan Cuadrado and Marko Arnautovic on the treatment table.
Roma are without the injured quartet of Lorenzo Pellegrini, Renato Sanches, Tammy Abraham, and Marash Kumbulla. Argentine forward Paulo Dybala could return from a knee injury.
This should be a great game to watch for the neutral, with both teams scoring and over 3.5 goals in total. Roma have improved in recent weeks but have been struggling on the road in Serie A. Inter Milan will remain top of the table with a victory and we expect them to pick up the win.
