Everton will welcome Luton Town to Goodison Park this weekend with the Toffees finally off the mark with a win over Brentford last weekend whereas the Hatters remain winless in their Premier League debut.

As many predicted, it’s been a tough ride for Luton so far in the Premier League. The club are sitting with no wins so far and despite their home ground finally up and running, they have only collected a point at Kenilworth Road so far after a draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The recent draw leaves Luton down in 18th with four losses on the board and with that draw being their first of the season. Worse yet, no side has scored fewer goals than they have too, with the Hatters bagging just three so far.

Carlton Morris scored one of those goals in the last outing, as his finish from the penalty spot forced a draw, but things have been made even worse for Luton with the club falling to a defeat to League One side Exeter City in the midweek League Cup outing.

Further losses for Luton this season have seen them lose at home to West Ham United and away to Fulham, while the club were also beaten by Chelsea in a 3-0 loss at Stamford Bridge.

The club's first Premier League defeat saw them lose 4-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion around six weeks ago, meaning their only win so far was in a victory over Gillingham earlier in the season during a League Cup second round game.

As for Everton, they continue to struggle in the league too, but they did manage to get a win last time out for the first time this season over Brentford.

In fact, by also defeating Aston Villa in the EFL Cup, the Toffees are now on a two-game winning run and potentially off and running towards a solid run of form.

Nevertheless, despite the recent victories, Everton are still in 15th and with four losses on the board and only five goals scored from the first six outings.

Worse yet, they've also let in 10 goals, which is one of the worst defensive records in the league - only Wolves and Bournemouth have let in more for those sitting outside of the bottom three.

Forebet predicts a win for Everton and for the game to see under 2.5 goals, as two sides fighting relegation play out a crucial battle down at the bottom in the early stages of this season,
