Peterborough and Derby County will clash on Saturday, nearly one year after the two clubs were relegated to League One. Derby County are on a two-game winning streak versus Peterborough in all competitions.
County are trying to hold onto a place in the top six. Automatic promotion is likely beyond the Rams at this point. They are four points ahead of seventh place in the race for the postseason. Derby are dipping in form and took just seven points from the last six matches.
Peterborough are seventh and chasing the Rams for a place in the playoffs. Saturday’s match will be a promotion playoff six-pointer. Unlike Derby County, Peterborough are playing well right now. The Posh took 10 points from the last six games.
Portsmouth and Port Vale divided their last three matches in all competitions into one win, one draw, and one defeat apiece. Pompey defeated Port Vale 1-0 earlier this season away from home in League One and are looking to do the double this weekend.

Port Vale were promoted from League Two last season and are looking to consolidate their place in the division. The Vale go into the match in 16th place, nine points above the relegation zone. They only took seven points from the last six matches in the division. The Vale failed to win their last two fixtures.
