Frosinone defeated Empoli 2-1 earlier this season at home. It was their first win in four tries against the Azzurri.
This is a relegation six-pointer, with both teams desperate to get away from the bottom three. Both clubs are on 31 points. Frosinone are unbeaten in the last five games, with one win and four draws.
Empoli won two of their last four Serie A matches. However, Empoli have the joint-worst attack in Serie A. They have scored just 26 times this season. Meanwhile, Frosinone have the third-worst defence, with 63 goals allowed.
Fiorentina won their last three head-to-head matches against Hellas Verona. All three of those games saw Fiorentina win to nil. Their match earlier this season at the Stadio Artemio Franchi ended 1-0 to La Viola.
Hellas Verona are two points clear of 18th-place Udinese. They won just one of their last six games in Serie A. Last weekend, Verona lost 1-0 to Lazio.
Fiorentina, on the other hand, are on a two-game winning streak. A 2-0 win over Salernitana and a 5-1 smashing of Sassuolo have Fiorentina in eighth place.
