Lyon managed to win just one of their opening 14 league games this season, recording four draws and nine defeats to create relegation panic at the club.
However, Les Gones have turned things around since then, winning 11 of their next 16 matches to climb into the top half of the table.
OL have also won eight of their previous 11 Ligue 1 encounters, although they endured a humbling 4-1 thrashing at the hands of PSG last weekend.
Given that Lyon’s previous three matches have produced 16 goals (5.3 goals per game), Sunday’s clash will likely be a high-scoring encounter.
As for Monaco, they extended their winning streak to four matches with a 1-0 victory over Lille last weekend, keeping a third successive clean sheet in the process.

Team news: Lyon have reported no fresh injury problems ahead of Sunday’s showdown, meaning the hosts have a fully-fit squad to choose from.
On the flip side, Monaco will be without injured duo Aleksandr Golovin (ankle) and Ismail Jakobs (knee) for the trip to Groupama Stadium.
Although Lyon have upped their game in recent months, there is no hiding the fact that Monaco have been exceptional on their travels throughout the campaign.
