The Netherlands and Austria take on one another in the final set of group games in Group D where everything is still to play for in terms of progression into the next round.

The Netherlands currently sit top of the group, and given how they are on four points, they have all but qualified when you remember that third place can also get you into the last 16, depending on results elsewhere.
On the other hand, it hasn’t been a convincing first two games for the Dutch. They first beat Poland in a 2-1 victory that needed a late winner from Wout Weghorst.
The former Manchester United man scored within minutes of coming onto the pitch, and now holds a tremendous statistic of scoring with all three of his previous three shots on target at a major tournament after doing so at the World Cup as well.
Cody Gakpo also netted a finish for the Netherlands after they fell 1-0 down to a goal from Adam Buksa. They had 21 shots in total that day, and the Netherlands also managed to hit the target only four times.
Against France, however, things were very different, and although they were not the favourites to beat the 2018 world champions, Ronald Koeman’s men didn’t exactly hold their own.
They did have four shots on target from a total of eight efforts in that match, but no chances really tested the French keeper.
However, a run of two games unbeaten at Euro 2024 now means the Netherlands haven't lost since back in March when Germany defeated them in a friendly. They managed to also beat Canada and Iceland 4-0 in their warm up fixtures to Euro 2024.
Austria themselves could see passage through to the knockout rounds in this game, even with a loss. They currently have three points so far and head into this match with a win over Poland and a loss to France.
Maximilian Wober scored an own goal against the French back in their first game, but Austria prove their worth in the following game by schooling Poland in a 3-1 win. Gernot Trauner got the ball rolling with an early goal in that game before an equaliser from Poland.
Christoph Baumgartner and Marko Arnautovic also scored in that win over Austria. Forebet now predicts a win for the Netherlands and under 2.5 goals.
