The points were shared after PSG and Monaco ended 3-3, while Brest got the better of Toulouse in another high-scoring encounter. St-Etienne continue to slide down the table, while Marseille remain just five points behind the league leaders.

Kevin Strootman’s late winner saw second-place Marseille open up an eight-point lead over third-place Rennes on Friday night. The host’s winning streak came to an end, while the visitors attempt to keep pace with league-leaders PSG.
Lyon came from behind to beat Bordeaux. Jimmy Briand put Bordeaux ahead on 15 minutes, but two goal inside three second-half minutes turned the game around for Lyon. Maxwel Cornet and Moussa Dembele grabbed the goals for Rudi Garcia’s side.
Monpellier also came from behind to see off Amiens. Bakaye Dibassy’s early strike was cancelled out by goals from Gaetan Laborde and Andy Delort. Amiens are now without a win in their last seven league games, while Montpellier move up to sixth.
John Boye’s 68th minute strike saw Metz claim their first win in ten Ligue 1 games to stay just above the relegation zone. Strasbourg ended a run of three straight victories and moved down to twelfth.
Angers and Nice shared the points in an exciting mid-table battle. Sada Thioub gave Angers the lead after completing a neat one-two on the edge of the area before firing the ball into the bottom corner. However, Wylan Cyprien netted a penalty late in the first half to level to score.
Toulouse have now lost nine consecutive league games after being thrashed by Brest. Yoann Court put Brest ahead, but a quick-fire brace from Bafode Diakite gave Toulouse the lead. Still, four goals in 12 second-half minutes from Gaetan Charbonnier (2), Hiang’a Mbock and Irvin Cardona completed the comeback.
Nimes secured a convincing win over Stade Reims. Renaud Ripart scrambled home from a corner to put the home side ahead on 15 minutes. Alaixys Romao was sent off for Reims in the second half, before Yassine Benrahour wrapped up the win with a late free kick.
Nantes move back up to fourth following an impressive away victory at St-Etienne. Mehdi Abeid and Ludovic Blas scored either side of half-time to hand the visitors all three points.
Dijon secured a shock win over Lille thanks to Julio Tavares’ 47th minute goal. Dijon played the majority of the game with ten men after Hamza Mendyl was sent off for a high tackle midway through the first half. Lille’s Boubakary Soumare also saw red in the second half.
PSG and Monaco shared the points in a six-goal thriller. Neymar put PSG in front, before Gelson Martins leveled. Wissam Ben Yedder then put Monaco ahead, but an own goal and a Neymar penalty gave the hosts the lead at the break. Islam Slimani rescued a point for Monaco on 70 minutes.
