    Boxing Day Games

Tottenham came from behind to beat Brighton in the early kick-off on Boxing Day. Adam Webster gave the visitors the lead on 37 minutes, but second-half goals from Harry Kane and Dele Alli turned the game around for Mourinho’s men.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang rescued a point for Arsenal in Mikel Arteta’s first game in charge of the Gunners. Bournemouth went in front thanks to Dan Gosling’s second goal in three games, but the points were eventually shared at the Vitality Stadium.

An Oliver Norwood penalty cancelled out a Gerard Deulofeu striker as Sheffield United were held to a draw by Watford. The Blades dominated large spells of the game, but Chris Wilder’s side ultimately failed to make their superiority count.

Michael Obafemi and Nathan Redmond both scored as Southampton claimed a shock win at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have now lost three of their last four home games, while Saints have won four of their last six.

Aston Villa failed to move out of the bottom three despite beating relegation rivals Norwich. Conor Hourihane scored the only goal of the game, but the Canaries created plenty of goal scoring opportunities.

Jordan Ayew scored a goal of the season contender as Crystal Palace came from behind to overcome West Ham. Robert Snodgrass put the Hammers ahead. However, Cheikhou Kouyate netted against his former club, before Ayew completed the comeback in the 90th minute.

Carlo Ancelotti’s reign as Everton manager began with a win thanks to Dominic Calvert-Lewin's late diving header. Burnley failed to register a single shot on target, while the Toffees notched up 21 attempts.

Anthony Martial bagged a brace as Manchester United thrashed Newcastle at Old Trafford. Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford also got on the scoresheet for the hosts, after Matty Longstaff had given the Magpies the lead.

Liverpool hammered second-place Leicester to take another big step towards the Premier League title. Roberto Firmino scored twice, while Trent Alexander-Arnold scored one and assisted two. James Milner also got on in the action by converting a penalty with his first touch of the game.

    Friday’s Thriller

Wolves battled back from two goals down to beat Manchester City in a game that had everything at Molineux. City goalkeeper Ederson was shown a red card after just 12 minutes. Raheem Sterling put the visitors ahead after missing two penalties, but scoring the rebound from the second.

Sterling made it 2-0 with a delightful chip just after half-time, but Adama Traore pulled one back for Wolves moments later. Traore then turned provider as he set up Raul Jimenez to level the score, before Matt Doherty’s dramatic late winner completed the host’s comeback.
