    Saturday’s Round-Up

    A rejuvenated Everton put in an inspired at Goodison Park to overcome Chelsea. Richarlison opened the scoring after just 5 minutes, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored twice in the second half. Mateo Kovacic netted for the Blues, but Duncan Ferguson’s first game as interim manager was ultimately a huge success.

    Liverpool inflicted a fifth straight defeat on Bournemouth as the Reds maintained their eight-point lead at the top. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and Mohamed Salah scored for Jurgen Klopp’s side – sending the Cherries down to fifteenth.

    Son Heung-min scored a goal of the season contender in Tottenham’s 5-0 thrashing over Burnley. Harry Kane bagged a brace, while Lucas Moura and Moussa Sissoko completed the scoring. Three consecutive defeats have left Burnley in thirteenth.

    Despite limiting Crystal Palace to zero shots on target, Watford could only manage a goalless draw with the Eagles at Vicarage Road. The Hornets had 13 attempts, but remain at the bottom of the table.

    The Red Devils claimed the bragging rights in the Manchester Derby in Saturday’s late kick-off. Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial scored within six first-half minutes, but Nicolas Otamendi’s late header proved to only be a consolation goal.

    Super Sunday

    Jamie Vardy scored twice, while there were also goals for Kelechi Iheanacho and Jonny Evans as Leicester convincingly overcame Aston Villa. Jack Grealish scored for Villa, while the Foxes keep the pressure on Liverpool at the top.

    Newcastle came from behind to beat Southampton at St. James’ Park. Danny Ings put Saints ahead on 52 minutes, but Jonjo Shelvey’s third goal in as many games brought the score level. Federico Fernandez won it for the Magpies late on.

    Enda Stevens and George Baldock both scored in the space of three minutes to cancel out Alexander Tettey’s first-half strike. Sheff Utd returned to winning ways, while Norwich remain in the bottom-three.

    Brighton and Wolves played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Amex. Diogo Jota put Wolves ahead, before Neal Maupay and Davy Propper turned the game around for the Seagulls. However, Jota grabbed his second of the game just before half-time to ensure the spoils were shared.

    Monday Night Football

    Gabriel Martinelli and Nicolas Pepe both scored their first Premier League goals as Arsenal came from behind to beat West Ham. Angelo Ogbonna opened the scoring and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finished off the Gunners’ comeback.
