    Saturday’s Round-up

Bournemouth and Manchester United kicked off the weekend’s action at the Vitality Stadium. Former Red Devil Joshua King scored the only goal of the game just before half-time to secure all three points for the Cherries.

Newcastle survived a late scare to overcome West Ham at the London Stadium. Ciaran Clark, Federico Fernandez and Jonjo Shelvey put the Magpies 3-0 up before the hour mark. Late goals from Fabian Balbuena and Robert Snodgrass weren’t enough to see the Hammers complete a comeback.

Liverpool left it late to snatch all three points at Villa Park. Trezeguet gave the hosts the lead in the first half, but goals from Andrew Robertson (87) and Sadio Mane (90+4) turned the game around for the Reds.

Raul Jimenez cancelled out a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang strike as Wolves drew with Arsenal. The visitors had 25 shots, while Arsenal only managed to register 10 attempts.

Sheffield United’s remarkable run continues as they secured a comfortable home win over Burnley. A first-half brace from John Lundstram and another goal from John Fleck saw the Blades wrap up the game before half-time.

Norwich’s winless run goes on as they were beaten 2-0 by Brighton. Leandro Trossard and Shane Duffy scored the goals for the Seagulls in what was a much-deserved win for the home side.

An early James Ward-Prowse goal saw Southampton lead Manchester City for the majority of the game. However, Sergio Aguero levelled for City on 70 minutes, before Kyle Walker won the game with just four minutes remaining.

In Satruday’s late kick-off, Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic both got on the scoresheet again as Chelsea beat Watford. Late VAR drama saw Gerard Deulofeu win and convert a penalty, but the Blues held on to claim the points.

    Super Sunday

Leicester move up to third following a convincing 2-0 win at Selhurst Park. Jamie Vardy sealed the win with his tenth goal of the season. Caglar Soyuncu had put the Foxes ahead earlier on.

Cenk Tosun’s equaliser deep into added time rescued a point for Everton. Dele Alli had given Spurs the lead, but the game was overshadowed by Andre Gomes’ horrific leg injury. Son Heung-min saw red as a result.
