Title rivals now all playing catch-up with Leicester

Unlike Premier League title favourites Leicester have an advantage over their title rivals and not just in points either. The Foxes are currently two points ahead of Tottenham in second and five points clear of third place Arsenal.

Leicester could extend that advantage with a home win against West Brom on Tuesday night, but both Tottenham and Arsenal do not play until Wednesday. The pressure will then be on the north London pair to win their games.

Tottenham face a trip to the Boleyn Ground to face London rivals West Ham, who are unbeaten in 11 games at home in the top-flight. Arsenal faces a home game with relegation-threatened Swansea, who have suffered just one defeat in four visits to the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League.

The Welsh side may be lacking confidence and low on morale after a weekend defeat at Tottenham, but Arsenal will also still be reeling from being beaten 3-2 by a makeshift Manchester United team at Old Trafford.

It is very much advantage Leicester whatever way you look at it at the moment. The Foxes have the point’s advantage, the momentum and also super Jamie Vardy. The side from the Midlands will also know that with the other rivals playing on Wednesday night the pressure will be on their rivals.

Leicester only sneaked a 1-0 win last time out against Norwich with a last-gasp Leonardo Ulloa goal. However, it is that sort of victory that wins league titles. It would be hard to back against the Foxes picking-up another victory on Tuesday night against the Baggies.
