Many believed that Moise Kean was destined to become a star at Juventus. The young striker was given plenty of opportunities to show what he could do in Turin and managed to score a commendable six goals in 13 Serie A appearances during the 2018/19 campaign.

So, it came as a big surprise when the Bianconeri sold Kean to Everton for £25m in August 2019.

Despite being just 19, the highly-rated forward was expected to hit the ground running at Goodison Park. But things didn’t go plan. Kean only scored two goals in 29 Premier League outings in 2019/20, before failing to hit the target in the opening two league games this term.

After struggling to make an impact in England, Kean was loaned to PSG in October. It’s safe to say that the Italian has found a new lease of life in France.

Kean was handed his first start by Thomas Tuchel as PSG thrashed Nimes 4-0. Following an eye-catching debut, the youngster opened his account for the Parisians with a brace against Dijon the following weekend.

His outstanding performances kept him in the starting XI for a victory over Nantes, before he took his tally to three goals in four Ligue 1 games in a 3-0 win against Rennes.

But Kean hasn’t just been causing a stir domestically. The striker has also featured in all three of PSG’s Champions League games this season.

His European debut for PSG ended in defeat to Manchester United, but it wasn’t long before Kean returned to scoring ways. The Italian netted a double as the French champions beat Istanbul Basakeshir on Matchday 2 and contributed an assist against RB Leipzig a week later.

With fellow forwards Mauro Icardi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar all suffering injuries recently, Kean has done his best to fill the void left by PSG’s injured stars.

The prodigy appears to have struck up an excellent on-field understanding with Angel Di Maria, with the pair linking up for a number of goals during the early stages of the campaign.

After failing to make a name for himself at Everton, Kean may want to make his loan move permanent. But having seen what the young striker is capable of, Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti will surely be eager to retain his services.

With five goals and one assist in his first seven appearances for PSG, Kean is clearly thriving in Paris – at least for now.
