His brand of football nicknamed ‘Sarriball’ has come in for criticism from the fans, despite the club’s stellar campaign. Sarri achieved his objective of returning the Blues to the Champions League for next season. He could even finish the season with silverware.
There are a few factors that may affect Sarri’s decision his future this summer. His lack of popularity may convince the former Napoli boss he is unappreciated at the club from the English capital.
The fact Chelsea are struggling to have their two-window transfer ban lifted could also affect the Italian’s thinking. He would be unable to strengthen his squad this summer.
A move to one of the biggest clubs in the European game would no doubt appeal to Sarri. The Italian boss has a big reputation, but he has yet to win big silverware in his managerial career. That could all change on Wednesday night.
However, at Juventus, Sarri could have the chance to win domestic silverware and the Champions League with the Bianconeri. He is unlikely to get the chance to win the Premier League next season with the Blues, while a challenge for the Champions League also looks unlikely.
If Juventus offer Sarri the job, it would seem very unlikely that the Italian would turn down the opportunity of a return to his homeland.
