Summer Transfer Window 2016 - It’s Going to be Hot!

The transfer window for summer 2016 is already open and it’s going to be hot! Rumours and facts alike keep the football fans on pins and needles. This is an intense time for club managers, players and football lovers who remain unsure of the future. The biggest names on the field can now change their colours in the most unexpected way.

Neymar & Barcelona - five more years together

This is good news for those in love with FC Barcelona! The fearsome trio of Suarez, Messi and Neymar will continue to play together. The club has recently concluded extension to Neymar’s contract. Thanks to this, the football player will fight for more scores in the colours of the team for incoming five years. Neymar’s contract has £161m of release clause and will last until June 2021. Being one of the most celebrated players, his transfer will not go without some media spotlight.

    Big money for Henrikh Mkhitaryan

One more hot contracts has already been concluded within summer transfer window 2016. Manchester United closed a deal for £26.3m with Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The red devils are known for being extravagant when signing notable players and the Mkhitaryan deal will be no major exception.

In the very beginning Mkhitaryan’s previous club, Dortmund, was reluctant to let the player go. They even denied the offer of £19m to be paid for the player. Only after increasing the sum, the club’s management agreed to sell the twenty-seven year old player to Manchester United.

    James Rodriguez becomes an outcast

The future of James Rodriguez remains unsure. In a scheduled meeting with the manager of Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, the two men will discuss the player’s career and possibilities. By what the team’s most important figures assume, Zidane is not eager to use Rodriguez, as he didn’t even play a single minute at the Champions League final. It’s seems quite likely that the player will develop his career elsewhere. The future will show the outcome of the meeting with Zidane.

    Fight for Eden Hazard

Eleven months ago the twenty-five years old football player was titled the Footballer of the Year. This season, however, was rough on him, depriving him both of the title and strong position in the field. Despite that, Hazard has his supporters and fans as great as Zinedine Zidane himself. Rumors are strong that the manager of Real Madrid hopes to snatch the player for himself and boost the team with his presence.

The suspected price for Hazard is estimated to be around £75m. However, as Chelsea aren’t this eager to give up on the player, Real might offer swapping Alvaro Morata and adding additional £35m. The club has recently signed a deal with Morata and evidently is keen on exchanging him for Hazard alone, even at the cost of additional millions of pounds to be paid.

Paul Pogba wanted by Manchester United

Surprisingly, Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola just happens to be the agent of Zlatan Ibrahimović and Mkhitaryan, who recently moved to the Red Devils. However, Pogba moving to United will be a difficult transfer, as Juventus and the player himself don’t seem too eager for this to happen. If such a transfer occurs, this will certainly make Pogba one of the most expensive players on the planet.

Leonardo Bonucci – one of the best defenders in the world

Pep Guardiola will be happy to have Leonardo Bonucci in his squad. It was reported that Juventus turned down a huge offer for the player by Manchester City, but we’ve seen numerous stunning signings by the Citizens, so it’s unlikely they won’t try to get what they want. However, rumors are Chelsea are also bidding for Bonucci, so the fight for this highly rated defender gets more and more intriguing.

Bonucci played under the coaching of Antonio Conte at Juventus and the Italian nationall team, so Chelsea might have an advantage signing this talented defender.

    Tottenham approaching Mario Götze

Gotze didn't manage to develop at Bayern Munich the way he surely wanted. Now, it seems rather possible the player will continue his career elsewhere. Tottenham are among the favourites to sign Gotze, who certainly has a huge potential and might quickly rediscover his top form.
