This  weekend is bound to be quite exciting. Let’s take a look at the most thrilling upcoming fixtures.

Leicester City vs Arsenal

Leicester City will welcome Arsenal to the King Power Stadium this weekend as the Gunners look to continue their excellent form off the back of what was a truly dreadful beginning. The Foxes themselves have begun to claw their way back up the league too following their wins over Manchester United and Brentford.

Now, Leicester are sitting on 14 points and so are Arsenal, with just the goal difference being the only thing separating their league positions. It’s set to be an attacking encounter from both sides and a crucial game.

Tottenham vs Manchester United

Sticking with those slumped into the spots just outside of the top six like Arsenal and Leicester and we have Tottenham Hotspur and United clashing in an equally as important game. Following the Red Devils’ abysmal display against Liverpool and Spurs’ defeat to West Ham United, Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are just a point ahead of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s pack.

In this one, more attention is going to be on the two managers who are both struggling right now. But, nevertheless, this fixture never disappoints and the game witnessed a 6-1 win for Spurs last time out and a 3-1 victory for United in north London.

Atalanta vs Lazio

Moving over to Italy and we have one of the clashes of the season in Serie A as two sides bidding for the top four meet with both Lazio and Atalanta in questionable form right now. Lazio were thrashed 4-1 last time out as Hellas Verona ran riot, while Atalanta drew 1-1 with Udinese as Beto bagged in the 94th minute.

It leaves the attacking brilliance of Atalanta in fifth, narrowly ahead of Juventus and just behind Roma. Lazio, on the other hand, have fallen down to eighth after their loss but a win could change everything.

Roma vs Milan

Elsewhere in Serie A, an even bigger clash sees Jose Mourinho play hosts to his former nemesis in AC Milan as Roma look to get back within title contention. Milan moved to the top of Serie A last weekend as Roma managed to hold Napoli to a draw, while Stefano Pioli’s men managed to secure a fantastic 4-2 win over Bologna and a 1-0 victory over Torino on Tuesday.

AC Milan are certainly title contenders once more, but Roma still have a bit to prove. What a game this could be.

Valencia vs Villarreal

Two old foes clash in a vital La Liga battle this weekend as Valencia and Villarreal both sit next to each other in the table in 11th and 12th, respectively. A win for either side could launch them into the top 10, but a defeat may even throw them closer to relegation.

Villarreal no doubt have one eye on the Champions League in midweek, but this is a game they simply cannot lose.
