There seems to be an annual event at Burnley, where they start their Premier League campaign slowly.
These slow starts lead to many doubting whether the Clarets can beat the drop. However, Sean Dyche’s team always somehow turn things around.

This season has been no different, as the Clarets are currently in 18th place in the Premier League table, having failed to win any of their opening four league matches. A 3-1 defeat at Everton on Monday night was their third league defeat of the season.
The thing about Burnley in their opening four league games is that at times they have played well, but have picked up nothing to show for their efforts.
The team from Lancashire have not had the easiest of starts, having to visit both Merseyside clubs, who both currently occupy a place in the Premier League’s top-four.
A trip to Anfield is always difficult, while Goodison Park has also been a bare-pit of a ground in past seasons. Burnley also faced Leeds at home, which again is not an easy game, even if Leeds have not started the season as brightly as they did last season.
The thing about Burnley is they always seem to just have enough fight and quality to pick up enough results to beat the drop each season.
They have a stable squad of playing and a shrewd head coach in Sean Dyche.
The Clarets will more than likely start to turn things around in the near future, as they have shown that being written off seems to just fire them up. There are several important matches against some of their fellow strugglers in the next few months.
If they can just start picking up a few wins here and there, Dyche’s team will start their annual road to recovery and save their season.
