Following an outstanding end to the previous campaign, many believe that Chelsea are ready to challenge for the top prize in English football once again.
This time last year, the Blues were preparing to head into the season with club legend Frank Lampard at the helm.

However, a poor run of five defeats in eight games across December and January led to Lampard’s sacking.
Thomas Tuchel was appointed as Lampard’s successor – and the former Borussia Dortmund and PSG head coach made an immediate impact.
Under Tuchel’s watch, the Blues lost just three of their final 19 league matches last term and secured a fourth-place finish.
Let’s not forget that Tuchel also lead Chelsea to the FA Cup final before winning the Champions League with a victory over Manchester City.
There is absolutely no denying that Tuchel has taken the Stamford Bridge outfit to another level in short space of time.
The Blues looked bereft of ideas with Lampard in the hot seat, but the new manager has steadied the ship and imposed his own style on the team.
Chelsea have yet to make any high-profile transfer this summer, with goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli the only arrival so far.
Although the club is reportedly interested in signing Erling Haaland, it could be difficult to get that deal over the line during the current window.
Still, Chelsea boast more than enough world-class players to pick up where they left off last season and mount a serious title challenge this year.
With attacking players like Timor Werner, Christian Pulisic, Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech in their ranks, the Blues are well stocked in that department.
N’Golo Kante and Jorginho are arguably among the best midfielders on the planet, while Ben Chilwell and Reece James add solidity in the full-back areas.
It could be said that Chelsea need to strengthen in the centre of defence, although Sevilla young gun Jules Kounde looks set to fix that problem.
If the Blues manage to lure Haaland to Stamford Bridge, they will stand an excellent chance of challening for the title.
But even without the acquisition of Haaland, Chelsea have the players to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.
With Tuchel at the helm, Chelsea must viewed as genuine title contenders. Ultimately, the German has completely transformed the club’s fortunes
