    Intriguingly, 60% of the Matchday 8 games produced an away winner. Lorient, Monaco, Ajaccio, Angers, Troyes and PSG all won on their travels, while Montpellier and Lille triumphed on home soil.

    There were also two draws – Marseille 1-1 Reims and Nantes 0-0 Lens – meaning only 20% of the clashes ended on level terms.
