Tuesday evening brings us action from the Brazilian Copa do Brasil with Serie A side, Santos, playing host to Serie D outfit, Cianorte, with Santos looking to seal this cup-tie against the minnows without any dilemmas.
Santos registered a solid 2-0 win away from home at Cianorte in the 1st leg at the Estádio Municipal Olímpico Albino Turbay and they now return to the more familiar surroundings of their Estádio Urbano Caldeira where Santos will be seeking to collect a third win on the trot in all competitions.

A convincing 3-1 home win against Ceara on the weekend saw Santos return to winning ways in Serie A after suffering a surprisingly heavy 3-0 defeat away from home at Bahia on the opening day of the new Serie A season.
Recent results in the domestic cup competition haven’t been too impressive where Santos have been concerned as the hosts had failed to win any of their preceding five cup-ties but early season form suggests they may be too strong once again for their Serie D counterparts on Tuesday night.
The away side, Cianorte, face a mountain to climb as they look to overhaul this 2-goal deficit against their more illustrious hosts, Santos, especially in Santos’s backyard.
Following that defeat, Cianorte did pick up a useful point in a 2-2 draw on the road at Portuguesa on the opening day of the Serie D season but the gulf in quality between themselves and Santos may become increasingly more apparent on Tuesday night away from home.
Results overall have been fairly ordinary for the visitors as Cianorte have managed to register just one win out of their last 11 matches in all competitions, which came in the form of a 1-0 home win against Azuriz in the Brazil Paranaense back in mid-May.
Cianorte possess limited experience in the Copa da Brasil as the visitors have played only five cup-ties away from home in total, winning two, losing two and drawing once, along with keeping just one clean sheet.
This last statistic may again be pivotal in determining the outcome of this 2nd leg cup-tie against Santos as Cianorte have already conceded two goals in last week’s home leg and further goals may be shipped in this 2nd leg against their Serie A opponents.
