Manchester United come into the game having suffered a disappointing 4-2 defeat at home against Liverpool last week. The Red Devils opened the scoring early in the match but Liverpool struck back to lead 2-1 at half-time.
A third Liverpool goal early in the second half gave them a cushion and Manchester United could not find the goals to take anything from the match.
That result means Manchester United have lost 3 of their last 4 games in all competitions, with additional defeats coming at home against Leicester City in the Premier League and away to Roma in the Europa League.
It is worth pointing out Manchester United rested the majority of their first team against Leicester and were 6-2 up going into the Roma game.
Trends show at least one goal has been scored by Manchester United in all of their last 12 home matches in the Premier League.
They have also seen over 2.5 goals in each of their last 5 games in all competitions. Both teams have scored in each of their last 4 home Premier League fixtures.
Fulham have already been relegated but will want to give a good account of themselves before the end of the season. However, they have been struggling to win games for some time and have failed to win any of their last 8 Premier League fixtures.
Their most recent win came at defending champions Liverpool on the 7th of March, which shows they can pick up results against good teams but since then, results have been poor.
Fulham have lost 7 of their last 8 Premier League matches. Three of the 4 defeats have come away from home but Fulham have managed to score a goal in 4 of their last 5 away league games.
However, they have lost by 2 or more goals in their last 3 Premier League games in a row.
Team news and Manchester United should go full strength in this match. Harry Maguire and Anthony Martial are injured but every other player should be available.
Fulham will be without the injured duo of Terence Kongolo and Tom Cairney.
Manchester United are huge favourites to win this match and get the points they need to finish in second place.
Fulham have been poor for some time and this should be a comfortable home win, with Manchester United keeping a clean sheet and scoring a few goals in the process.
