In one of the standout fixtures on the English football calendar, Chelsea face Leicester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

Just two points separate the two sides in the Premier League table, with third-place Leicester leading fourth-place Chelsea.

Both sides are on course to secure Champions League football for next season, but they will both be eager to get their hands on the trophy this weekend.

Chelsea beat Morecambe, Luton Town and Barnsley in the early rounds, before knocking out Sheffield United in the quarter-finals.

In the semi-finals, the Blues got the better of Manchester City, with Hakim Ziyech scoring the only goal of the game.

Funnily enough, Chelsea have beaten Man City in the Premier League since then and will come up against Pep Guardiola’s side in the Champions League final.

Since Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard back in January, the Blues have only lost three of their 26 games in all competitions.

Better still, they have kept a whopping 18 clean sheets in that time – giving them a shutout rate of almost 70%.

Meanwhile, Leicester saw off Stoke City, Brentford and Brighton before beating Manchester United 3-1 in the quarter-finals.

The Foxes then beat Southampton in the last four, thanks to a goal from in-form forward Kelechi Iheanacho.

Remarkably, Iheanacho has bagged 15 goals and three assists in his last 17 appearances – including four goals and one assist in three FA Cup matches.

Leicester have only lost one of their previous five league matches and head into Saturday’s final on the back of a 2-1 victory over Man Utd.

Head-to-head: Leicester claimed a 2-0 victory over Chelsea in the Premier League back in January. That proved to be Lampard’s final game in charge of the Blues.

Interestingly, the Foxes have only lost one of their last eight meetings with Chelsea – picking up two wins and five draws along the way.

Team news: Chelsea trio Mateo Kovacic, Andreas Christensen and N’Golo Kante are injury doubts for Saturday’s showdown.

Wes Morgan, Harvey Barnes and James Justin are all ruled out for Leicester, while there are question marks over the fitness of Jonny Evans.

Leicester may have beaten Chelsea earlier in the season, but it is important to remember that a lot has changed since then.

Given the impact that Tuchel has made since arriving in England, Forebet predicts that Chelsea will win the FA Cup final – scoring over 1.5 goals in the process.
