Real Madrid come into the game having been eliminated from the Champions League at the semi-final stage by Chelsea on Wednesday night.
Having been held to a 1-1 draw at home, it was always going to be a difficult night in London and Real Madrid struggled to create the chances required to win the game and lost 2-0.
However, that was the first defeat suffered by Real Madrid in their last 20 games in all competitions. Home form has been good and Real Madrid are undefeated in their last 11 matches at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium.
